Today marks exactly one year since the sad news broke that racing driver Dilano van ’t Hoff had tragically passed away at the F1 circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. The promising MP Motorsport driver competed in the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine and had already achieved various successes in multiple racing categories. Van ’t Hoff was widely regarded as a great talent. Dilano had a successful career in karting. After karting, he transitioned to single-seaters and won the Spanish Formula 4 Championship in 2021. In 2023, he competed in his first full season of FRECA. His dream was to reach Formula 1, but the finish line came far too soon for Dilano. A tribute to Dilano van ’t Hoff can be seen in this video:
